The 1960s cocoon suggests a shift, where ornate diffused light recreates the ambience of whatever room Viscontea is in. The inspiration behind the  chandelier design is their ability to help us reimagine the things we see every day at Castiglioni. The internal steel structure is coated with white powder and sprayed with a unique "cocoon" resin to form the diffuser, which is then finished with a protective transparent spray.
